In light of the COVID-19 national public health emergency, ASHT has transitioned the 2020 Annual Conference to a virtual event. The meeting sessions will be a blend of live broadcast and on-demand options creating a novel way to connect remotely with fellow attendees, speakers and exhibitors. The contemporary format will allow you to attend more sessions and earn more continuing education credits than the traditional in-person conference.

The ASHT 2020 Virtual Conference Program includes an outstanding lineup of 57 education sessions and 81 speakers, covering diverse and timely topics in hand and upper extremity therapy.

All plenary sessions will be broadcast live every Thursday from October 1 to November 19. All sessions that take place in the scheduled broadcast will be included in the on-demand library within 24 hours after the close of the broadcast.

  • I am so excited for the ASHT Annual Meeting this year. Thank you for creating a meeting that is accessible, affordable, and offers so many continuing education opportunities. I look forward to my next in-person meeting, but you exceeded my expectations this year!

  • ASHT's Annual Meeting offers opportunities to reconnect with colleagues from different parts of the country, learn new hand therapy skills, and review research related to evidence-based practice.

  • There are so many reasons I look forward to the ASHT Annual Meeting beyond the educational opportunities. I am always looking for new exciting options to bring to the clinic from the vendors. I am also drawn to the advanced plenary lectures. Learning from leaders within our field leaves me really inspired to go back to work with new innovative ideas!

  • The ASHT Annual Meeting not only provides me with great educational offerings, but also helps to expand my network beyond my "usual hand community" . Learning from other therapists from different parts of the country or even the world has provided many benefits.

  • ASHT is such a great meeting, because I receive such a variety of education all jam packed into one conference! I always appreciate the effort from our hand surgery colleagues to participate as educators and collaborators at our meeting. I enjoy the vendors, the cutting edge research in the scientific sessions, and the hand care "rockstars" from all of the plenary sessions!

  • I just received notice about the 2020 ASHT Virtual Annual Meeting. What a great value with Pre-Conference Institutes included! I love being submerged in the hand health community among the most enthusiastic practitioners and educators. I now feel more inspired and recharged, especially after attending last year's conference.
