Evidence Informed Management of Lateral Epicondylosis - Challenges, Frustrations and Latest Best Practices
This course is a comprehensive survey of the evaluation and treatment of lateral epicondylosis. Topics covered will include evidence-informed best practices for use and dosage of exercise, orthotics, counter-force bracing, manual therapy and soft tissue mobilization. Treating the injured athlete and facilitating return to sport will be explored, as well as treatment of patients from all walks of life. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and practice taping techniques, mobilization with movement, cross-friction massage, cupping and IASTM. Latest evidence for dry needling will be presented, although there will not be an opportunity to practice this technique due to variations in licensure laws in each state. Participants will be provided with an extensive patient education and home exercise program that can be personalized after collaborating with the patient. This course will be geared to therapists at all levels.
