Practice Analysis 2020 Results: Hand Therapy Trends and the CHT Examination
Periodic analysis of the practice of hand therapy at five to seven year intervals is necessary to ensure that the Certified Hand Therapist examination reflects current practice, as well as to guide policies for regular recertification of hand therapists. This session describes the process and stages from initial information gathering from subject matter experts to a comprehensive industry wide survey of all Certified Hand Therapists, the results from the survey, and how this information was used to influence the standards for Certification of Hand Therapists. HTCC would like to thank all therapists who participated in the survey process from inception to completion. Content of presentation is appropriate for therapists at all levels.
