Gwendolyn Van Strien, PT, CHT-NL
Gwen van Strien Lives in TheHague in the Netherlands. Received her bachelors degree (PT), and went on to also earn a BSc (medical degree) at Leiden University Medical School. She moved to the USA where she received a MSc Hand Therapy from VCU in Richmond, Virginia. She is founder/course director and lecturer at the Handtherapy School at the Netherlands Institute for Postgraduate Allied Health Education. She authored numerous articles and chapters on hand rehabilitation and hand surgery. She has over 30 years of clinical and teaching experience in hand rehabilitation, both in Holland and internationally. She is the founder of the Dutch Society for Hand Therapy.
