Haley Van Ens, MOTR/L, CHT
Haley is the founder of Restore Performance, a telehealth based company with expertise treating musicians. As an accomplished pianist and organist through college, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and taught classical piano. Haley then earned her Master of Occupational Therapy degree and began clinical work. She started with a physician owned practice and after a year, developed a new hand therapy practice from the ground up. In 2017, she passed the CHT board exam and had the honor to contribute to Chapter 18 of the Hand Rehabilitation textbook, known to many as, "the purple book". She has been invited as a guest lecturer for several colleges on topics ranging from ethics to ergonomics and is a contributor to Ergonami, a shear technique program for hairstylists. Today's lecture is a combination of the perspectives of a musician and Certified Hand Therapist. Haley will now present on: innovative strategies for evaluating the performance of musicians.
