Jamie Nguyen, MS, OTR/L

Jamie Nguyen is an occupational therapist at NYU Langone Rusk Rehabilitation in the outpatient hand therapy department. She has therapy experience in acute care, in-patient rehab, home care, and outpatient therapy settings. Currently, she works with non-operative and post-operative upper extremity orthopedic diagnoses. She leverages evidence based practice and holistic techniques to help patients return to full participation in their occupations, daily activities, and hobbies. She graduated with her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 2013. She has a passion and focus on rehabilitation of shoulder injuries and compressive nerve injuries. She has given lectures on return to sports after shoulder surgery to both doctors and therapists through NYU's School of Medicine Continuing Medical Education program.
