Sandra Salinas, MHS, OT/CHT
Sandra Salinas has 38 years of experience in the field of Occupational Therapy and specializes in hand therapy. She started her interest in 3D printing for therapy when she was completing her Masters of Health Science for OT's at University of Florida. An article highlighting the use of 3D printing for a hand orthosis created a desire to find out all she could about this technology. 2015 she became the administrator for the Facebook page supported by her local Florida OT association: Region 7 UE 3D Printing. She has written articles on the topic of OT and 3 D printing. She is co-author of a Journal of Hand Therapy publication April-June, 2020, "A Current Snapshot of the State of 3D printing in Hand Rehabilitation.
