Tambra Marik, OTD, OTR/L, CHT
Tambra Marik, OTD, OTR/L, CHT has practiced in hand therapy for the past 20 years, but transitioned into academia at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2019 where she is serving as an Assistant Professor in Occupational Therapy. Her clinical experience focuses on taking a holistic approach to treatment of upper extremity conditions by evaluating and treating upper extremity proximal and distal orthopedic conditions. She has clinical experience with injuries of the brachial plexus and peripheral nerves. Tambra has been active in the national hand therapy community as the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT) Education Division Director, Research Division Director and Annual Meeting Chair (2019). She has published book chapters and journal articles related to upper extremity rehabilitation. She is excited to be part of the Hand Therapy Review Course.
